BGA Speaks at MBK Career Day!

Vincent Restivo and Nick Pedlow joined My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Career Day, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Saunders Trades and Technical High School in Yonkers, New York. They spoke to the youth about pursuing a career in Engineering.

As part of the MBK movement, the City of Yonkers joins 250 cities and towns, businesses, and foundations across the country that are taking important steps to connect young people to mentoring, support networks, and the skills needed to find a good job, go to college and enjoy successful lives.

BGA partners with Pleasantville High School on an internship program that annually welcomes a High School student considering a career in engineering to our office for several weeks prior to graduation.  The student works alongside our engineers gaining real world experience.

We also hire rising college seniors each summer from accredited engineering programs as engineering interns.  Many of our own interns have joined us as full-time engineers upon graduation.

Our interns learn the use of computer programs for design and drawing production such as Bluebeam, Carrier Hap, AutoCAD and Revit.
